Another casino is set to reopen in Canada. The Great Canadian Gaming Corporation has announced a mid-November date for Casino Woodbine in Ontario with the permission of the provincial government. It had suspended operations due to the pandemic.
Great Canadian Gaming is based in Ontario, founded in 1932, and operates twenty-five gaming and entertainment facilities in several provinces; among them are Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
Social responsibility has been their mission; and with the pandemic, they are particularly committed to player and employee safety.
Casino Woodbine now has significant and comprehensive health and safety protocols. U[pm reopening of the property, the venue will be joining the company’s ten casino properties currently operating in Ontario.
Of note, Great Canadian’s brand mission is “PROUD of our people, our business, our community”. They are known for volunteering and social efforts like healthcare, education and community services under the PROUD program.
In fact, they support over 1,400 charitable and non-profit entities across Canada. A great portion of gross gaming revenue is retained by its Crown partners on behalf of their provincial government in each of its jurisdiction.
