The Rotary club of Saipan is repeating their fundraiser initiative this year for Las Vegas night which will be held at Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan. Brian Clayton, the vice president of the club, in a meeting with club members at Hyatt regency Saipan, stated that Imperial Pacific Resort is not responding to lend their deals at the club’s annual fundraiser.
In the meeting, Clayton said “Without the help of the Casino, the fundraising event might be a bit challenging this year”. He explained that the volunteers were of great help the previous year. The most problematic game is craps as not many people know how to play it.
During an ongoing interview, Clayton said, “We don’t know if the casino will provide dealers this year, so we are approaching volunteers from the public”. He even added, “There are a lot of people that have helped us in the previous years, so we are hoping they could help us again this year.”
The 2018 Las Vegas night was initially slated for November 2018, but was rescheduled on March 30, 2019, due to Super typhoon Yutu, which struck the CNMI in late October 2018. The grand prize of the fundraiser of 2019, is Mitsubishi Mirage G4 or $10,000; a second prize of $3,000; third prize of $2,000; a fourth prize of $1,000; a fifth prize of $500; along with door prizes as well. Winners are selected by raffle draw.
The venue of the event is Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, on 30th March, 2019. The places to collect tickets for Las Vegas nights will be given at Megabyte Saipan, the McDonald’s Saipan headquarters in Dandan, through Rotary Club member.
